You will be responsible for overseeing all activities to guarantee the prompt, precise, and effective processing of transactions within the Transaction Services Operations Function. Collaborate with various transaction service offerings, such as Cash Management, Institutional Services, and Trade Services. Monitor the transaction processing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Develop and implement processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. Ensure timely and effective client reporting, with reports sent to clients promptly.
Responsibilities :
- Receive and process incoming and outgoing transfer documents.
- Maintain SLAs of the Account Transfer Department, to include adherence with regulatory body rules (i.e. IIROC rules).
- Clear written and oral communication with branches, National Bank Financial, Operational groups and other financial institutions.
- QC, initiate, follow-up and complete transfers, Aton and Non Aton transfer ins.
- Clear, detailed communication on any rejected transfers back to advisors.
- Reviewing daily and weekly transfer in and out reports provided by Management.
- Ensuring any outstanding transfers are shared with management to make sure they are resolved in a satisfactory timeframe.
- Notification of transfer out requests to advisors on a daily basis.
- Communication with various Operational groups (Recurring Events, MIS, etc.) to ensure transfer outs are actioned properly and efficiently.
- QC, deposit of cheques and control account reconciliation, booking in mutual funds.
- QC of transfer documents and forward to National Bank for transfer outs/ RESPs/ RDSPs.
- Open and distribute Department mail.
- Answering the department toll free phone line.
- Administer Department email box.
Desired Profile :
- Basic knowledge of ISM, ATON, CDS (Optional).
- Fundcom knowledge an asset
- 1-2 years Account Transfer experience.
- Advanced level of English language skills, both oral and written to process account transfers, review daily and weekly reports in English and interact with English speaking colleagues and clients regarding transfers and updates, from across Canada on a daily basis.
- Clear written and oral communication.
- Courteous and dynamic customer approach.
- Works well within a team environment.
- Be rigorous and organized.
- Able to multi-task and change focus during the day, depending on volumes
- Provide ideas and suggestions on how to improve the service offering to the team.
Overtime may be required. Flexibility to assist with overtime as needed.
Compensation:
The typical hiring range for this position is from CAD 47,000 and CAD 55,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on skills, job-related knowledge, experience, and internal equity. All permanent employees of iA are also entitled to an annual bonus.
