Our Western Canada Group Insurance Sales team is growing.
Are results and good business relationships among your priorities? Are you known for your interpersonal skills, your autonomy, your ability to listen and to build trust? The position of Account Executive, Group Insurance, at iA Financial Group, may be for you!
Thanks to your leadership, influencing and strong social skills, and service mindset, you will build relationships with advisors and contribute to the achievement of Group Insurance's growth objectives and the development of iA's brand. You must reside in Vancouver.
Your impact:
- Ensure business development and after-sales service (Group Insurance) by establishing solid business relationships with our network of advisors, making them aware of our service offering, and building trust with them. The target market for this position: plans with 50+ lives.
- Deliver and strategically position our proposals (service offerings) in the market.
- In collaboration with the Regional Vice President, develop and implement the sales strategy, and monitor, and coordinate sales activities with the various teams.
- Promote the iA brand, represent the organization at industry events, and plan events and activities with advisors.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of finalist presentations.
- Actively participate in the development and evolution of our service offering with our teams so that it is constantly aligned with the market reality.
- In collaboration with our partners and advisors, develop personalized solutions adapted to the needs of our customers and prospects.
What we’re looking for:
- University education in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the group insurance industry as an account executive, benefits consultant, or underwriter of group insurance plans.
- GBA or CEBS designation is nice to have.
- Leadership and excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build trusting relationships.
- Excellent judgment and ability to influence and negotiate, focus on business development.
- Strong listening, service mindset, and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize issues strategically.
- Focused and accountable for results.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Available to travel as needed to meet with Advisors (personal vehicle and driver's license required).

Compensation
The typical hiring range for this position is from $90,000 and $100,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on skills, job-related knowledge, experience, and internal equity.
