You will work closely with the institutional client and portfolio management teams to support client relationship management and provide timely investment insights. The goal of the institutional client team is to consistently deliver outstanding service to our clients and support the growth of assets under management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service;
- Develop a strong understanding of iAGMA's existing clientele, investment processes, and strategies;
- Support the institutional client team and portfolio managers in content production;
- Collect, analyze, review, and validate performance and portfolio data to produce quarterly and ad hoc reports for clients;
- Participate in the development and regular maintenance of investment materials: marketing presentations, portfolio commentaries, institutional client management reports, fact sheets, audit documents, marketing communications, etc.;
- Participate in the process of updating consultant databases and responding to periodic due diligence questionnaires;
- Perform quality control (contribution, editing, and content review);
- Support the dissemination of investment materials and management of the marketing calendar;
- Support the process of monthly and quarterly portfolio commentaries;
- Participate in ad hoc projects and activities.
Desired Profile:
- Pursuing a Master's or Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field;
- Available for a minimum of 15 hours per week during the fall semester;
- Able to work on-site 2 days per week during the summer at one of our offices;
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written;
- Solid experience with the MS Office suite;
- Team spirit, autonomy, time management skills, resourcefulness, analytical and critical thinking, attention to detail;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work on various projects simultaneously;
- Good customer service skills;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;
- Advanced proficiency in English, as the role involves consulting English documentation, video conferencing, and email exchanges with colleagues, suppliers, and unilingual English-speaking client representatives, as well as performing tasks within a pan-Canadian team on a daily basis;
- Advanced proficiency in French, as the role involves consulting French documentation, video conferencing, and email exchanges with colleagues, suppliers, and unilingual French-speaking client representatives, as well as performing tasks within a pan-Canadian team on a daily basis;
- Investment experience is desirable;
- CFA designation or enrollment (an asset);
- Experience with investment databases (an asset);
- Experience in institutional asset management (an asset).
