We're looking for a Transaction Technician, who will work under the supervision of the Assistant Manager, Transactional Processes, Individual Savings and Retirement. 

After a few weeks of training, you'll be able to :  

  • Contribute your expertise to the administrative tasks involved in processing various transaction requests for individual annuity contracts, in compliance with the policies and procedures in force; 

  • Put your meticulous mind to good use by coding information in the computer systems (redemptions, deposits, changes to contracts, etc.) while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. ), while ensuring compliance of documentation related to transaction requests; 

  • Process a wide variety of requests, in large numbers and within established deadlines, in an individual savings and retirement environment where products evolve rapidly and tax laws are frequently updated; 

  • Participate, where necessary, in the continuous improvement of existing processes and procedures. 

You're the person we're looking for if :  

  • You are comfortable using various computer tools 

  • You demonstrate good judgment, autonomy and attention to detail, as well as excellent priority management skills 

  • You have a good capacity for learning and for working under pressure

  • You work well alone and as part of a team

  • You have an intermediate knowledge of the English language, as you will be required to consult English-language documentation, speak by videoconference and exchange e-mails with English-speaking colleagues, as well as carry out tasks as part of a pan-Canadian team on a daily basis

  • You are available 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday
