It’s important to connect your computer to power (power cable or docking station) and to the internet to avoid losing power or internet connection during configuration.
Throughout the process, you will be asked several times to identify yourself via the Microsoft Authenticator app. Be sure to have your cellphone near at hand.

Before beginning, get your cellphone ready as you will need it for authentications throughout the installation process.

Here’s what you need to know about returning IT equipment (laptops and accessories).
Before returning equipment, it is important to ensure that the data on the computer to be returned is backed up on OneDrive.
Option 1: Return equipment to the agency
- Put all the equipment to be returned in the same box and use sufficient packaging to protect the equipment during transport.
- Drop the box off at the agency.
- The agency will return the box to the head office.
Option 2: Return equipment by carrier (Purolator)
- Put all the equipment to be returned in the same box* and use sufficient packaging to protect the equipment during transport.
- Call Purolator at 1-888-744-7123, specifying that it is for a pick-up.
