Student- Pricing Technician, Group Insurance

Underwriting / Co-op Student / Hybrid / Toronto / Full time : 37.5 hours weekly/ Starting in September 2025

Reporting to the Team Lead, the  Student - Pricing Technician, Group Insurance maintains and handles the bulk of the technical tasks within Group Underwriting with respect to mail and other work received.

You could have the opportunity to :

• Manage database for the Underwriting workflow
• Complete special reports assigned by management, including system testing for applications used in technical support
• Provide backup for other technical support people during peak periods and absences
• Any other tasks from the underwriting team

You are the one we are looking for if:

• You are currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Business, Economics, Math, Actuarial or Statistical related field of study and in a Co-op program
• You have previous work in office environment an asset
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You have an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, mainframe or P.C. applications
• You have the ability to work with tight deadlines and to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
• You have good interpersonal skills
• You demonstrate ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
