Each advisor pays their own travel and accommodation expenses, as well as the expenses for their guest (if you have registered a guest) or for any additional personal activities.

The group rate for the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is $300 per night, taxes included.

iA Financial Group has partnered with Laurier Du Vallon travel agency to offer you personalized service for your travel and accommodation needs. We strongly recommend that you take advantage of the travel agency’s turnkey services.

iA Financial Group is pleased to offer you the following:

October 2: Transportation between airport and hotel, welcome snack
October 3 and 4: Breakfast, lunch, cocktail, dinner, meetings and scheduled group activity
October 5: Breakfast, transportation between airport and hotel

Unfortunately, room sharing between advisors is not allowed.

Advisors are allowed to invite one guest over the age of 21 to join them. We have arranged for a Guest package fees (CAD $300), which includes a welcome snack on October 2, breakfasts and dinners on October 3 and 4, and a group activity on October 4. For your guest, this package is offered at the special rate of $300 for the three nights, including taxes, a value of $920.

The package does not include lunches. Your guest cannot attend meetings due to the limited number of places available.

Transfers between the Vancouver airport and the hotel will be provided free of charge for those arriving on October 2 and departing on October 5.

No compensation is provided if you decide to come with your own car or if you rent a car. Any fees for parking will also be your responsibility.

You can book for the three nights before and after the event at the discounted rate of $435 per night, everything included. This option is offered on the registration form.

The suggested attire is business casual. Appropriate business casual attire includes the following:

• Blazer or sports jacket
• Dress pants
• Business suits
• Skirts or dresses
• Dress shirts
• Neat slacks (not jeans)

Note that simple casual dress code is required for the group activity and dinner on October 4th.

No. Because this is not a rewards program, and you are paying your own way, this will not be a taxable benefit. However, we suggest that you check with your tax professional on how best to handle this trip, as some costs may be deductible business travel expenses.

Yes. Continuing education credits will be assessed when content is finalized and reviewed by accreditors.
