Sébastien Mc Mahon, MSc. Econ, PRM, CFA

Chief Strategist and Senior Economist, iA Financial Group

Sébastien Mc Mahon joined iAIM in 2013 after having amassed a wealth of experience over 15 years in the public and private sectors.

Throughout his career, Sébastien has held various positions in several prominent financial institutions, notably at Quebec’s Ministry of Finance and at the Autorité des marchés financiers, Quebec’s regulator for the province’s financial markets. In addition to his role as Senior Portfolio Manager at iA Financial Group, Sébastien also acts as Chief Economist and is a member of the firm’s asset allocation committee.

Sébastien holds a Master’s degree as well as doctoral studies in Economics, is a CFA charter holder and is deeply involved in Quebec’s financial scene as a member of the board for Quebec’s association of economists.
