Philippe Cleary, FICA

Senior Director, Individual Insurance, Savings and Retirement Products

Philippe Cleary is responsible for the product development teams in the areas of life insurance, savings and retirement, living benefits, and advanced financial and tax solutions.

Philippe holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Université Laval and is also a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA).

Philippe began his career at iA Financial Group in Quebec City as a corporate actuarial advisor in the product pricing team. He was quickly promoted to the position of Director of Corporate Actuarial Services. Since November 2020, he has been Senior Director, Individual Insurance, Savings and Retirement Products.

Prior to his career in financial services, Philippe worked in the restaurant industry for a number of years. It was there that he developed a passion for customer service... and for good food and wine!
