Industrial Alliance is Proud to Present the 2007 Toy Parade

Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc. is pleased to be the official sponsor of the 6th edition of the Toy Parade, which will be held in Quebec City on November 10 and 11. Numerous family activities await the expected crowd of 150,000.

"Industrial Alliance has placed a great deal of importance in families for over 100 years. We are very proud to sponsor this event," stated Yvon Charest, President and Chief Executive Officer. "This pride is shared by our employees, some of whom will be on hand to take part in the festivities."

Industrial Alliance will be present for the entire two-day event. It will mainly be involved in the Enchanted Village on Saturday, November 10, where makeup and craft workshops will be on the program. The Company’s mascot, Angus the elephant, will also be attending.

This new, three-year agreement is part of the Company’s commitment to family-oriented events across Canada, which includes the Toronto Kite Festival, Drummondville’s Mondial des cultures and the Quebec Symphony Orchestra Family Concerts.

Through this partnership, Industrial Alliance is also proud to assist the Quebec City Firefighters Christmas Tree Committee. The committee will use the funds collected during the event to offer gifts to some 900 children in the city.
