2004 Lotopompier Campaign: Industrial Alliance Proudly Pursues its Commitment to the Quebec Firefighters Foundation for Major Burn Victims

Quebec City,

News Release

Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc. is proud to partner with the Quebec Firefighters Foundation for Major Burn Victims for a third consecutive year as the title sponsor of their 21st Lotopompier fundraising campaign that is being held from April 26 to June 6, 2004. The Lotopompier campaign, which is the Foundation’s main fundraising activity, is a lottery that helps the Foundation raise funds to improve care given to major burn victims in Quebec.

"For a company such as ours, which safeguards the financial security of individuals and families, this partnership is quite natural," stated Yvon Charest, President and Chief Executive Officer of Industrial Alliance. "Our commitment to this cause goes beyond just corporate support, as thousands of Company employees and agents have been personally invited to help sell Lotopompier tickets. According to a philosophy we have adopted as our own, our goal is to provide support at a level that is in line with our commitment!"

In the scope of its partnership with the Foundation, Industrial Alliance is also organizing an Internet contest in which up to $10,000 in prizes will be awarded. To enter the contest, participants must purchase a Lotopompier lottery ticket and visit the Industrial Alliance corporate website at www.inalco.com where they can fill out a participation form and validate their 2004 Lotopompier ticket before the contest ends on June 30, 2004. A total of 25 instant prizes of $200 each will be awarded. In addition, each participant’s name is automatically entered in a draw to win a grand prize of $5,000.
