Description

You are passionate about information management and have experience with the changes transforming this dynamic field. You will play an active role in defining our vision and strategies and oversee implementation of roadmaps and measures to guide iA Group on the road to its paperless office goal. 

You will also be responsible for growing the national digitization and mail team in collaboration with Group stakeholders as part of our paperless office strategy.

You will work with various business lines and contributors to the information management process in a perpetually changing environment.

Supervisor: Senior Director, Procurement and Material Resources.

Main responsibilities:

  • Define the vision and propose strategies and action plans to achieve targets in conjunction with the lines of business and the various stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain the governance required to effectively manage shared services with the sectors and stakeholders concerned
  • Optimize shared service offerings in document management at the national level in accordance with business line needs and the Company’s paperless vision
  • Maintain a continuous improvement management system
  • Build a strong team and create conditions to help motivate, develop and retain employees (training, performance evaluations, etc.)
  • Strive to improve internal partner satisfaction by measuring performance (KPI)
  • Develop and manage the systems under your responsibility in collaboration with the IT teams
  • Monitor external developments in your area of expertise to help implement innovative best practices in relation to our paperless target goal.

Training and experience

  • University degree in business administration or a relevant field
  • 10 years of experience in information management or a related field, preferably within a large organization, including five years of team management
  • Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry (a major asset)
  • Relevant experience in a cross-functional role
  • Excellent verbal and written language skills in both English and French owing to frequent interaction with English- and French-speaking colleagues and clients across Canada
