To maintain PPI’s exacting level of service, we are looking for a Manager, Analytics Planning and Reporting. This position may be filled in any PPI location.

If you have significant hands-on experience with Wealthserv/iPipline working in the MGA space, this might be the role for you!

Manager, Analytics Planning and Reporting

Reporting to the Director, Business Analytics and Reporting, the Manager, Analytics Planning and Reporting will work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to develop an understanding of analytics requirements and business objectives, gathering required details from end users, including industry-specific metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, tracking and supporting analytics project assignments.

  • Supporting the prioritization and management of solution backlogs to achieve maximum business value, utilizing an established Business Analytics & Reporting intake process.

  • Participating in and taking ownership of project management activities.

  • Applying an in-depth knowledge of what and where information is stored in Wealthserv to assist in the translation of reporting requirements into specifications for the development of Power BI reporting/dashboarding solutions.

  • Training the Analytics Team in the translation of reporting requirements.

  • Liaising with the Finance Team on collaborative reporting projects.

  • Working collaboratively with team members and end users over the course of the analytics project life cycle.

  • Working collaboratively with team members and end users to test automation tools, reporting results, etc., ensuring valid results and reporting integrity.

  • Training end-users on the usage of tools and reports as required.

  • Working collaboratively with the Executive and Analytics team members to establish and maintain consistent standards for the delivery of information and analytics solutions.

  • Participating in the establishment of feedback cycles with end users and stakeholders to validate solution efficiency and effectiveness.

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Recognized Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Management or Computer Science plus a minimum of 5 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

  • MGA, financial and reporting experience a must

  • Substantial business analysis experience and problem solving skills

  • Hands-on experience with, and advanced knowledge of, Wealthserv/iPipeline required

  • Hands-on experience with, and knowledge of accounting software such as AccPac, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics SL required

  • Project management experience required

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Bilingualism in English and French an asset
