PURPOSE AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Reporting to the vice-president of sales, the incumbent will work closely with our sales directors to provide sales support to World Financial Group (WFG) advisors, within the territory.
What will I be doing?
You’ll be answering sales, product and software questions that will come from WFG advisors. We’ll also need you to prepare quotes and provide product and software training over the phone and via webinars. You’ll coordinate various events (seminars and meetings), which will include: inviting advisors and participants, sending promotional emails, sending thank you notes/cards and following up with attendees.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining up-to-date distribution lists and contact information for WFG advisors and act as a liaison between the advisors and the iA Excellence Head Office's administrative personnel when issues arise. You’ll also be responsible for booking appointment(s) between WFG advisors and our sales directors.
What will I need to be successful?
We’re looking for a highly motivated and very organized individual. We want you to take the initiative to proactively phone advisors with good sales potential and assist with building and strengthening relationships to identify which advisors should be met by our sales directors.
Education and Experience:
• university degree
• 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry or in a brokerage environment
• highly developed communications and presentation skills
• ability to function well in pressure situations, flexibility and diplomacy
