Reporting to the AVP, Operations, the Business Analyst will:
•Analyze and scope business requirements to produce detailed requirements and design specifications. Specifications include: functional specifications, process designs, user interface (UI) designs and end-user documentation.
•Conduct design and test reviews with the project teams to ensure systems design, development, and testing are aligned to support the intended objectives.
•Train, coach, and mentor project team members and user participants to improve the quality and completeness of requirements specifications.
•Provide project requirements to project manager to develop project estimates and schedules.
•Working in both agile and waterfall methodologies
•Work with SME and business stakeholders to document/maintain detailed business requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project.
•Facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to capture business requirements.
•Work with the project management team to provide estimates as to how long it will take to write business requirements.
•Work with the development team ensure that the product being built addresses business requirements.
•Work with the QA team to answer questions regarding the business requirements
-Education equivalent to College Diploma in Information Technology, Business, or other related discipline.
-Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
-Three or more years of experience in Business/Systems Analysis and Requirements Management.
-Three or more years of demonstrated ability to reengineer processes to make them more effective for the organization.
-Demonstrated knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
-Financial operations knowledge would be preferred.
-Proven history delivering medium/large software projects.
-Ensure that business requests fit within the framework of iA Wealth applications.
