Industrial Alliance Securities is seeking an experienced Institutional Equity Salesperson for its Capital Markets Group in Toronto.
Reporting to the Managing Director, Head of Institutional Sales, the Institutional Equity Salesperson will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with buy-side portfolio managers and analysts in order to maximize agency commissions.
5+ years of experience in Institutional Equity Sales (or equivalent experience, such as in Equity Research)
Strong relationships with portfolio managers and buy-side analysts.
Passion for finance and the capital markets.
Self-motivated and high attention to detail.
Able to perform under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and multi-task and manage several on-going projects simultaneously
Outstanding knowledge of current industry and financial news.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills to present investment ideas
Completed CSC and CPH exams
CFA charter holder (preferred)
