Description

PURPOSE AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Reporting to the vice president of sales, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining relationships with advisors within the WFG Managing General Agent (MGA). The incumbent will provide guidance and educational seminars to advisors within the WFG MGA.

KEY ACTIVITIES:
• support the sales directors in the delivery of marketing & sales seminars
• work in close collaboration with the sales directors to develop a marketing plan for their regions
• co-ordinate company involvement in sales congresses & meetings, golf tournaments and other special events as directed by senior management
• act as the liaison between the sales directors and advisors
• provide the advisors with product support and special quotes
• prepare reports on MGA performance for the sales directors
• provide feedback to the management team on operational matters or challenges to ensure the company's continued pre-eminence of the field
• other duties as assigned from time to time

Qualifications

Experience:
• 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the insurance industry

Skills:
• excellent communication skills - oral and written
• highly developed presentation skills
• ability to function well in high-pressure situations, exercising flexibility and diplomacy
• French language skills considered an asset
