Reporting to the Manager, Account Transfers, the Operations Associate, Account Transfers will be responsible for various operational tasks to ensure that transfers are actioned properly and efficiently. Main responsibilities include:
*Maintain SLAs of the Account Transfer Department, to include adherence with regulatory body rules (i.e. IIROC rules)
*Clear written and oral communication with branches, other Operational groups and other financial institutions
*Open and distribute Department mail
*QC of transfer documents and forward to NBIN for processing
*Clear, detailed communication on any rejected transfers back to advisors
*Follow up on requests to ensure accounts are transferred within a reasonable time
*Reviewing daily and weekly transfer in and out reports provided by Management
*Responding to rejected transfer forms
*Answering the department toll free phone line
*Ensuring any outstanding transfers are shared with management and ensure that outstanding items that are not resolved in a satisfactory timeframe are communicated with management
*Notification of transfer out requests to advisors on a daily basis
*Communication with various Operational groups (Recurring Events, MIS, etc.)
*Basic knowledge of ISM
*1-2 years Account Transfer experience
*Clear written and oral communication
*Works well within a team environment
*Bilingualism (French and English)
*Able to multi-task and change focus during the day, depending on volumes
*Contributes ideas and suggestions on how to improve the service offering to the team
*Fundcom knowledge an asset
