New tax on insurance premiums in Saskatchewan

In its most recent budget, the Government of Saskatchewan announced that it will add a new provincial sales tax (PST) of 6% on insurance premiums. This new tax should take effect August 1, 2017, and will only apply to Saskatchewan residents. 

The details of this new tax will be announced once the bill is officially adopted, which should occur in the coming weeks. We will therefore analyze everything and provide you with detailed information. Keep an eye on our communiqués in July!
