Enhanced electronic services for plan members

News Release

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we have enhanced our online services for plan members in order to offer simple, efficient, and eco-friendly solutions.

Initiatives such as simplifying the direct deposit and notification web screens, adding direct deposit and notification features on the mobile application, and allowing direct deposit enrolment by phone have been introduced in order to make it easier for plan members to register for e-services.

Our intent is to offer direct deposit and notification by email jointly so that plan members can fully benefit from our online services. A recent review of our plan member database found that some plan members are enrolled in direct deposit or notification by email, but not both.

Starting August 27, 2014, health and dental claims explanations will no longer be mailed to plan members who are registered for direct deposit since these details are available via CyberClient. Our secure website provides easy, quick 24/7 access to group benefits information. Plan members who are enrolled for notification by email will be required to register for direct deposit to maintain their email notification service.

Only plan members impacted by these changes will be advised via mail or email. They will also be told how to register for these services. No action is required on your part.

Please note that the latest enhancements to the web screens in CyberClient require plan members to make a selection regarding both of these services.
